A grouchy umpire got the boo of a lifetime recently for stealing a bat from Finn, the bat dog, and tossing it off the field instead of letting the good boy do his job. Seriously, you need to hear the crowd turn against this guy!
The crowd goes wild
Sheesh, ump. Let Finn The Bat Dog do his job! smh.pic.twitter.com/XymBWLeuQn

Whether Finn is fetching bats, delivering water bottles, or just showing off some of his repertoire of cute tricks, he’s absolutely a fan favorite at the Las Vegas Ballpark.

Finn is a professional bat dog for the Las Vegas Aviators, and one of over a dozen dogs in the league currently working. Could you imagine a more perfect job for a 4-year-old Labrador retriever who loves to perform?

When he’s not cheering on the home games, you can find Finn doing more conventional retrieving with his owner and trainer Fred Hassen.

We’re proud of you, Finn, for not letting that umpire spoil your fun. You’re a diamond in the ruff, for sure.
